What is a brick session?

It’s nothing to do with building. 

It’s a training session where you go from either swim to bike or more popular is to go from bike to run. 

We do these as training sessions specifically to get yourself up to speed, to get yourself feeling in the right way for a triathlon.

What we’re trying to do is to teach you to be able to run efficiently when you’re fatigued. 

One of the best training sessions that I do is some bike intervals on my turbo in my garage. 

Then I get off the bike, put my trainers on and go for a specific run. 

It could be 500 metres, it could be a kilometre.

Then I come back, I get back on my bike, do some more intervals, put my trainers back on, go out, do another run. 

It gets your legs and most of all your body and your mind feeling what it’s going to be like when you actually do that part of the triathlon. 

We’re trying to get over the jelly legs and getting you used to the jelly legs feeling so that it doesn’t throw you on race day.
