How often should you swim?

How often should you swim if you are a beginner swimmer?

We get this asked a lot now.

There is no substitute for swimming.

I bang on about this all the time, and I know this because I used to hate going swimming

I get where people are coming from, but you will never, ever improve as a swimmer unless you swim on a regular basis.

We say if you can swim three times, if you can do four times a week, that’s brilliant.

Even if it’s only 30 minutes, it is the best way to get better at swimming.

If you can swim with a group or even a swim buddy, then to keep yourself accountable, that’s even better.

Now we are having our next learn to swim front crawl for triathlon course starting in 10 days time on the 20th of July at the Axon Leisure Center.

It’s just 80 pounds, and in those eight weeks, we will get you swimming.

We’ll get you to enjoy swimming.

That’s the most important thing.

If you enjoy it, then you will go more often.

We’ve taken literally hundreds of people, non-swimmers into being competent front crawlers.
